Oh yes, same here. But that'll take probably until the weekend before the game...

Looks cool...respect,
Thanks!
Citat:

That's mostly because the foam needs to be stretched to glue it this way and you just can't do that in an exact way. Therefor there's some excess foam that gets cut away in the next step.

That'll still take some time. Still a lot of work to do, but we're getting there...
As said before, shoulders are next (already in the making).
Then the lower parts of the armor (pants, belt and lower plate).
After that, the backpack.
Then we construct the framework on which everything is attached to (kind of like the wooden frame used in the awesome DIY Space Marine Guide, just with belts and straps). We already have parts of this, but there's some more stuff we need to do.
If we still got some time then, we do the legs and shoes.
And finally latex, isoflex and finishing touches...
But rest assured, I'll document all steps and you'll see pics of the finished product and hopefully some action shots from the weekend as well

Here you can see the "magic cut" we used for the shoulders:

And this is the shoulders and body done:

Something similar: PCT 1

Actually it was an inspiration particle I got while cooking dinner...
It somehow "struck" me that an "M" form should work. 15 minutes later I had a paper model and it looked impressively good...

Ok, here's the last one for a while since I won't be able to work more until next week.
Artur and Tim will work on backpacks this weekend, though. I'm looking forward to what they will produce

Some fantastic equipment you are making, and this goes out to anyone who makes it themself.

I am really inspirered, and ,even more, to make a workshop myself and begin to learn the honorable ability to create... something.

So far, I am joining the workshop on the 16.
See you there.
